About Sushi Gourmet
Sushi Gourmet is a vibrant artisan food company hand crafting fresh Sushi and Japanese hot dishes in retail environments daily.
Sushi Gourmet are shifting the perception of the way we buy in supermarkets throughout the UK & ROI with a range of healthy food prepared in store in front of customers using fresh natural & sustainable produce.
From freshly rolled sushi to delicious Asian street food & poke bowls, all are made fresh from scratch each day with no artificial flavourings, colouring or enhancers - just great real food as it should be!
We founded Sushi Gourmet UK & ROI in 2016 & have grown to over 203 sites within Sainsbury, & Dunnes, with additional convenience when partnered with delivery services Deliveroo, Just Eat and Gorilla. We offer innovative products and provide healthy choices for our customers who increasingly vote positively with their feet.
We care passionately about the environment and sustainability. All of our seafood is certified ensuring it is sustainably sourced and animal welfare standards are observed and independently accredited. Our packaging has been refreshed to include recycled materials that can be recycled further. We continue to develop our products and offerings with more exciting projects ahead and range from reducing food waste to reducing food miles. We have recently received a partnership award from the Fishermen’s Mission who have delivered vital support to fishermen and their families since 1881. As a company that relies on sustainable fresh fish, it is an honour to be supporting a cause that does so much in fishing communities. We firmly believe we can make a difference to the Planet together.
We pay our teams fortnightly, offer complimentary lunch, there are NO night shifts, no experience is needed as we can give full training, chef uniforms are provided, plus a great career path trajectory in the UK and opportunities globally for the right candidates.
